Be encouraged in Jesus
John 16:33 (NKJV)
These things I have spoken to you, that in Me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation; but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world."

It has been said that the church is like good tea; their real strength comes out in hot water.  When we feel the flames of life’s trials lapping at our feet our prayer life suddenly becomes more frequent and fervent.  The practice of a passionate God centered prayer life will better prepare us for those fiery trials.

Pray for Boldness

Acts 4:27-31

27 “For truly against Your holy Servant Jesus, whom You anointed, both Herod and Pontius Pilate, with the Gentiles and the people of Israel, were gathered together 28 to do whatever Your hand and Your purpose determined before to be done. 29 Now, Lord, look on their threats, and grant to Your servants that with all boldness they may speak Your word, 30 by stretching out Your hand to heal, and that signs and wonders may be done through the name of Your holy Servant Jesus.” 31 And when they had prayed, the place where they were assembled together was shaken; and they were all filled with the Holy Spirit, and they spoke the word of God with boldness.

God intends to do good works in and through you and He has already determined His purpose beforehand.
Corey ten Boom once said ‘there is never a panic in heaven only plans’.  God already knows the outcome of world events because he has already written the last chapter in His Word.  Since God is the creator and controller of all things, you can pray with confidence about your daily needs.  When our desire is to glorify God and speak His Word with boldness, He will answer our prayers.  Jesus will stretch out His Hand to heal, with signs and wonders in His name.  God answers the prayers of those who are abiding in Him because then we know He is abiding in us.  (John 15:7-14)  You will find strength for godly boldness when you ask God to fill you with His Holy Spirit.  Whatever your need is let its purpose bring honor and glory to Jesus.

Ask God how you can glorify Him today and He will answer you.
