1 John
5:11-13
11 And this is the
testimony: that God has given us eternal life, and this life
is in His Son. 12 He who has the Son has life; he
who does not have the Son of God does not have life.
13 These things I have written to you who believe
in the name of the Son of God, that you may know that you have
eternal life, and that you may continue to believe in
the name of the Son of God.
Romans 3:23 & 24
23 for all have sinned and fall
short of the glory of God, 24 being justified freely by His
grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus,
We are all born in sin under
the fallen family tree of Adam. Adam sinned causing all
mankind to be infected with the sin nature. Everyone has
broken the law of God. This is why all fall short of the glory
of God. The cost of sin or the penalty to be paid for
sin is death. Jesus is the only one to ever
live a sin free life. Jesus Christ paid the debt of our
sin with His life when He died on the cross. He is our
only hope !!!
Romans
5:8 But God demonstrates His own
love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ
died for
us.
Romans
6:23 For the wages of sin is death,
but the gift of God is eternal life
in Christ Jesus our
Lord.
Eternal life is a gift and
when we accept by faith that Jesus died for our sins
on the cross we can be saved. When we believe that
Jesus was raised from the dead proving He has power over death
we are taking the necessary step toward Christ in
Faith. Our human nature desires to control
and rule over our lives. We must come to a place where we let
go of our fears and surrender completely to
Jesus.
If you want to be saved ask Jesus to come into
your life. Ask God for
for understanding and the faith to believe. Give
Jesus full authority over your life.
