Pangea
Pangea from the Ancient Greek pan, meaning
entire, and Gaea, meaning Earth was the supercontinent that
existed during the Paleozoic and Mesozoic eras about 250 million years ago, (worldview
definition not endorsed by our ministry) before each of
the component continents were separated into their current
configuration.
Did you
see the Pangea event on May 10th. Pangea Day was meant
to bring the world together through film. Pangea Day was supposed to
be a global gathering around the world's campfire
storytelling simulcast.
Why Pangea Day? In a world where people are often divided by
borders, difference, and conflict, it's easy to lose sight of what
we all have in common. Pangea Day seeks to overcome that – to help
people see themselves in others – through the power of film.
Will events like Pangea Day and other future events to
follow bring the world closer together? I hope these
cultural storytelling movie snippets will help different
cultures come together in a way unlike we have ever seen in the
history of the Pangea. (Earth) When doors of
communication are open, the opportunity to connect world
cultures and peoples are always enhanced. I hope to learn
something new about my fellow Pangeans.
Here at Love That Matters Ministries we are always on the watch
for any event with potential to develop a love for one another. The positive side to this
Pangea Day gathering is the potentially cohesive effect leading to a
more unified world. A more unified world driving toward open
pathways of tolerance sets the stage for a remarkable mindset
yielding to new and uncharted cultural waters. A more tolerant world is
more accepting of a world leader who shares the same desire for
broadminded thinking.
Pangea Day may bring us one day closer to the kind of
leadership the New Age philosophers hope to discover on the
political world horizon.
A multi-religious tolerant world leader/savior if you will
who embraces all faiths and the non-religious as well.
Who will this great leader be and where will this dynamic
historic leadership style take the people of Pangea.
See The End of
Days to discover the answer.
